Vol. 43 No. 1 (2026): Enero - Abril
This issue of Psicología desde el Caribe presents an editorial reflection on methodological rigor and the evolution of knowledge in contemporary psychology. The original research section brings together studies on inhibitory control and heart rate variability in adolescents with delinquent behavior, predictors of elder abuse in Colombia, the psychometric properties of a parental self-regulation scale, and the relationship between the work context, leadership, and stress among teachers. The issue also includes a theoretical review of the scientific evidence on internet addiction disorders and a systematic review of retirement preparation programs. Taken together, this issue offers a broad perspective on current challenges related to mental health, human development, well-being, and transitions across the life course.
