Teaching on Economics: reflections on the meaning of a social science in construction. The Colombian case

Abstract

In Colombia, there have been several mechanisms to adapt the pedagogical and didactic tendencies to the different university training programs. Policies such as the accreditation of universities have allowed the design of substantial changes in institutions, as well as the implementation of standards that make it comparable internationally. This work is based on the reflection of the basic principles about the teaching of the economy in an environment like the Colombian one and its constant concern for the improvement of teaching.
