Percepção de corrupção e aprovação dos governos Latino-Americanos

Este estudo analisa a relação entre a percepção de corrupção do poder executivo e a aprovação governamental em 18 países latino-americanos. São utilizadas 11.582 observações do Latinobarómetro de 2018 e estima-se um modelo Logit Multinível. Os resultados indicam que maior percepção de corrupção no executivo reduz em 19,1 pontos percentuais a probabilidade de aprovação dos governos. Isso evidencia que a corrupção percebida compromete a credibilidade governamental, expõe fragilidades institucionais da região e limita a efetividade das políticas públicas.
