Educación intercultural, socioeconómica y construcción de ciudadanía en Colombia: El caso del Distrito de Santa Marta

Este artículo presenta resultados de una investigación de tipo cualitativo, basado en dos estudios; en el primer estudio la metodología va orientada a la interpretación y la comprensión y en segundo estudio a la transformación y al cambio. En el primero se desarrollaron dos grupos de discusión con 21 miembros del profesorado de cuatro instituciones educativas de carácter público de la Comuna No. 8 de Pozos Colorados en la ciudad de Santa Marta, con el ánimo de comprender y evidenciar las necesidades formativas que manifiestan en torno al desarrollo de la educación para la ciudadanía intercultural. A partir de las necesidades formativas identificadas se ha iniciado el segundo estudio, que comprende la elaboración, puesta en práctica y evaluación de un programa de formación del profesorado que posibilite desde las instituciones educativas el desarrollo de competencias ciudadanas interculturales

5. That such authorization is granted for free.
6. The moral rights of the author on the article correspond exclusively to the AUTHOR, in virtue of which, the Universidad del Norte agrees to expressly and rigorously recognize and respect them.
