Abstract

Abstract
In this work the intrinsic and Specific vulnerability maps of pesticides of Morroa aquifer were developed by DRASTIC Parametric system. Its development was to define the geometry of the system and is compiled on the basis of variables method, through the Software Arcgis 9.2. The higher values were obtained per areas were from the General Index of Specific Vulnerability to pesticides, with results between 89 and 179 (from a possible 26 to 256), divided into 5 intervals of vulnerability in its continuos area that corresponds to 91.2% of total: 0.6% Insignificant, 10.7% Very Low, Low 50.6%, 21.9% moderate and 7.4% has a High Vulnerability. These results provide a basis for environmental management and a starting point for research aimed at protecting the Aquifer from contamination by pesticides and other substances for environmental care.
