Estructuras hexaquirales con coeficiente de Poisson negativo bajo carga uniaxial en el plano

Resumen


El estudio y las aplicaciones de estructuras deformables con formas celulares y relación de Poisson efectiva negativa son de interés en la actualidad para los sectores automotriz y aeroespacial, como también para la aplicación en componentes ópticos, biológicos, micro electrónicos, estructurales y termo mecánicos. Estas estructuras poseen baja densidad, alta rigidez a cortante en el plano y la capacidad de sufrir grandes deformaciones en el rango elástico del material constitutivo, comparada a una estructura solida del mismo material. Este documento presenta un análisis numérico, utilizando el método de elementos finitos, del comportamiento estático en el plano de estructuras hexaquirales con coeficiente de Poisson efectivo negativo. Los resultados obtenidos sugieren un mejor control de los parámetros de las estructuras porque tienen en cuenta sus restricciones geométricas en aplicaciones reales, facilitando un diseño más flexible y confiable según el tipo de aplicación deseada.
