La escritura oficial del registro civil: cuando la ciudadanía pasa por la inscripción
Keywords:
Civil Register, identitary model, identitary signalsAbstract
Modern states officially register the identities of individuals. This register is an obligation, a certain type of control, but at the same time it provides a social space with all the rights, which correspond to it. That is to say, it provides with social identities. Though this inscription and bureaucratization of daily life is a control. paradoxically it also opens spaces of freedom. So, though the identitary model of the Civil Register gives privilege to certain signals (first name. last name, nationality, gender), it also imposes the permanency of them. A democratic state controls and encodes the possible gateways of this model.
