La educación y el desempleo en el modelo de integración de la comunidad andina

International Trade Theory explains how an overall improvement in the quality of life of the inhabitants of the participating trading countries achieve by increasing the levels of integration. The Andean countries have aimed to their andean integration as the first step towards their insertion in the global economy. This research study reviews the incidence of the Andean integration on education and employment as two significant indicators of social well-being. It is found that the intra-andean trade had a significant incidence on real income. Also, we show how future investment in education will have a positive incidence on the sustainability of the integration process.
