Consecuencias de la pandemia del COVID-19 para las relaciones entre los individuos y las organizaciones

Resumen

La disrupción de la vida cotidiana y de la actividad laboral como resultado de las medidas de los gobiernos para afrontar la crisis sanitaria provocada por la pandemia del COVID-19 ha tenido múltiples consecuencias, tanto para los trabajadores como para las organizaciones. Desde marzo de 2020, la rápida expansión del virus en la mayoría de los países de Europa y América y las medidas de distanciamiento social y cuarentena adoptadas han generado el cierre de una gran cantidad de empresas, negocios y comercios, han alterado las formas de trabajar, especialmente, imponiendo el teletrabajo o el trabajo remoto, se han reducido las horas de trabajo y los salarios, y se han rescindido o redefinido las condiciones de un gran número de contratos, afectando a millones de trabajadores/as de toda condición. Si bien la situación puede percibirse como un evento transitorio, y buena parte de los y las trabajadoras esperan recuperar su empleo y las condiciones de trabajo alteradas tras la crisis, las percepciones acerca de cómo se han adoptado estas medidas laborales, el mantenimiento más o menos duradero de ciertas condiciones de trabajo (por ejemplo, el teletrabajo) y los efectos sufridos durante estos meses, pueden tener consecuencias profundas para las relaciones entre los individuos y las organizaciones. El análisis presentado aquí se estructura en cuatro grandes áreas y tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre las principales implicaciones para estas relaciones.
