These prior conditions serve like base to support that the purpose of this investigation is in knowing the characteristics that possess the family environments of where they sprout young and excellent children; By means of daily and continuous observation of more eight years on the part of a team of professionals, it was analyzed me development of 250 very intelligent children rigorously (coefficients between 130 and 170) of the Instituto Alberto Merani in Santafé de Bogotá (Colombia) and their interaction with their families. The results suggest that very intelligent children exist in all the economic strata, but that the crucial factor its development far from being the economic thing is the cultural and educational level of their parents. Although students exist with intellectual level in all the strata, the follow-up for more than eight years showed that the development of these children shows invisible objective barriers that spread to restrain its excellent advance.
