Abstract

Adolescence and suicide are extremely wide topics which have been studied from different perspectives. The author starts by stating the issues which are experienced during the adolescence, and particularly, by approaching what suicide means in this period of life. Later, she makes a brief analysis of the epidemiological data, studies the factor which determine the suicidal act and ends with a formulation of some possible alternatives for the treatment of this problem in adolescents.
