Abstract

This article deals with the difference between phenomenology and genealogy. First it explains briefly what phenomenology is, as proposed by Husserl. Then it proposes the issue of religion, specially the concept of God, as seen by these two opposed positions. The phenomenology perspective is presented through the work of Levinas while the genealogical one through Nietzsche’s.
