Abstract

Abstract

The supplier performance measurement is a very important
aspect in the supplier management because which is defined if
they are complying or not contractual arrangements and if
complying with the parameters of performance expected for the
uccessful the company’s operations. Additionally, as a
result of the evaluation can be defined improvement plans and
strategies for negotiating with suppliers, which aims to ensure
the successful operation of the firm. In this paper we propose a model designed
for evaluating suplier performance, using Analytic Hierarchy
Process (AHP), which has proven be effective tool to make a
multicriterion decision. We show principals results of this
application.
