Sustainable Supply Chain: Management in Small and medium-sized enterprises

Abstract

The scarcity of research in Sustainable Supply Chain Management in developing countries was considered in the genesis of this article. Three cases were investigated via an exemplary and descriptive case study, with the aim of analyzing the characteristics of Sustainable Supply Chain Management in small and medium industries in the light of established models in international literature. The results of the study generate theoretical and managerial collaborations, contributing to reduce deficiencies in the literature, with the presentation of a model that provides a basis for improving the management of companies whose activities fall within the Sustainable Supply Chain Management.
