Children entrepreneurs in the Caribbean Coast

Abstract

The following article summarizes the outcome of the research that took place
in the city of Barranquilla during the years 2004 and 2005. The objective was
to systematize an existing model of entrepreneurial attitude already experimented
in children and introduce its application within a group of young adults in
Barranquilla. This document includes a review of each and every step that led
to the creation of the model analyzing the effects that it causes on people. General
conclusions and recommendations for its possible implementation in other education
institutions of the country are presented in order to foster entrepreneurial spirit.
An analysis if the role played by Neuro-lingual Programming as a fundamental
tool for the model application, and which is considered cutting edge for its role
as a motivating, dynamizing and catalytic agent of the process results. Another
aspect of this article is the comments on the results obtained when the model was
implemented to a series of students members of the program “Academic Success “
students that during an established period of time reached amazing results discussed
on this document.
