Focus and Scope

PSICOLOGÍA DESDE EL CARIBE

A journal published by the Department of Psychology of the Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla (Colombia), includes the scientific production of both national and foreign authors and institutions, articulating the following areas of psychology: clinical psychology, health psychology, neuropsychology, educational psychology, social psychology, organizational psychology and psychometrics.

Every 4 months, the journal publishes articles that have been rigorously evaluated by the editorial committee and by national and international peers, without disclosing the identity of either the peer reviewers or the authors of the articles. The final decision regarding publication is made on the basis of the opinions submitted by the external reviewers’ opinions, and then communicated to the author by the editor in chief.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate free access to its content (open access) based on the principle that making research available to the public free of cost supports a broader exchange of global knowledge.
