Abstract

Las tecnologías digitales en salud, han permitido que los pacientes estén mejor informados, reduzcan tiempos y distancias para intervenciones en salud, generando un cambio en la relación médico paciente. Objetivo: explorar la evidencia a nivel mundial de la influencia que ha tenido el uso del WhatsApp en las relaciones médico paciente. Metodología: se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura en bases de datos científicas, aplicando criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Resultados: se obtuvo un total de 335 artículos, resultando 4 artículos para el análisis: un reporte de caso, un estudio de casos y controles y dos estudios descriptivos observacionales. Se estimó un porcentaje de uso de WhatsApp del 65% en los estudios incluidos. Conclusión: la aplicación WhatsApp puede ser una herramienta útil como canal de comunicación en la relación.
