Descripción del Autoconcepto en pacientes con trastorno bipolar.
Abstract
El autoconcepto se concibe como la idea que una persona ha construido de su sí mismo, producto de la auto-observación de sus capacidades y limitaciones propias. El objetivo del presente trabajo es describir el autoconcepto en una muestra de pacientes con trastorno bipolar. Estudio de corte transversal, de característica descriptiva. Muestreo intencional, se evaluaron 36 personas por medio del cuestionario AF5. Al realizar una comparación de medias entre grupos no se hallaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas para ninguna de las dimensiones. Las mujeres puntuaron por debajo del baremo en las dimensiones emocional y familiar y los hombres puntuaron por debajo en la dimensión social y familiar. Los resultados se discuten a la luz de la literatura científica sobre el tema.
