Revisão integrativa da literatura sobre Autoeficácia ocupacional

La autoeficacia ocupacional es la creencia de una persona de que puede realizar comportamientos relevantes para su trabajo. Este estudio es una revisión integradora que tuvo como objetivo investigar el concepto de autoeficacia ocupacional con el fin de descubrir características importantes sobre el tema y ampliar la comprensión del concepto. El método adoptado siguió dos pasos principales: 1) búsqueda, análisis y selección sistemática de publicaciones en las bases de datos Web of Science, Lilacs, PubMed, Scielo, Scopus, PsycINFO y Pepsic, considerando todo el período de publicación; y 2) revisión de los estudios seleccionados en la primera etapa. Se consideraron elegibles (a) estudios disponibles para lectura completa y (b) investigaciones sobre autoeficacia ocupacional. Los resultados presentados muestran correlaciones entre la autoeficacia ocupacional y diversos indicadores en el trabajo y la salud y el bienestar. Las organizaciones pueden promover el desarrollo de creencias de autoeficacia entre los trabajadores con el fin de prepararlos para sus actividades, contribuyendo al desarrollo de las personas y de la propia organización. Se indican medidas específicas de autoeficacia ocupacional que representan mejor el comportamiento bajo investigación y tienden a tener un valor predictivo más fuerte que una medida general de autoeficacia. Así, los instrumentos para medir este constructo pueden ser utilizados para la evaluación, apoyando también intervenciones en el campo de la Psicología y en el contexto laboral.
