Abstract

This article presents a theoretical study based on the existential psychology in complement with the perspective of Kurt Lewin, about the experience of being anxious in parents with a daughter/son diagnosed with cancer. Furthermore, it is showed how this diagnosis confronts parents with death, and as paradoxical as it seems, if they confront it consciously, it could help to develop individual’s life constructively.
