Abstract

The purpose of this current study is to determine if resilient factors exist associated with the academic performance of university students. This sample is composed of 345 students, distributed in two groups, low performance and high performance, between 16 and 38 years old. The instrument applied was the resilience questionnaire for university students (CRE - U). The results, after applied the statistical model of logistic binary regression (Relative Opportunity), indicated that there are significant statistical differences among the students with high and low academic performance regarding the resilient factors, being the last group the one that showed major risk due to the fact that there exist less factors that are associate to it.
