Quality of life related to health and negative emotions in patients diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Abstract
The article presents the results of a study developed in Colombia on the evaluation of the quality of life and its relationship with the anxietydepression and the social support in patients with diagnosis of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (copd). 60 people with diagnosis of copd of different lish (Lending Institutions of Services of Health) from the city of Medellín, Colombia were evaluated. The quality of life was evaluated through the Questionnaire sf36, the anxiety-depression was evaluated by Questionnaire had, and Questionnaire as was used to measure social support. Signi?cant levels of anxiety-depression were not demonstrated clinically, the quality of life of the Physical Functions was affected specially the Physical Roll (work, study) in questionnaire sf36 and in relation to the social support very high levels were observed. In general all the study had high reliability.
