The moral performance in the organization.
Abstract
In this article is presented of the research ?ndings (Gómez, 2006) that investigated the in?uence of the ethical climate, the personal values and of the organization values, the moral development and the emotions on the moral acting of the employees. The sample was conformed by 302 employees of public corporations and private; 166 men and 136 women that occupied direct charges, of half control and administrative-operative technicians. The results showed that the sex, the type of carried out position, the ethical climate, the blame, the sympathy and the pride, the personal and organizational values and the moral development explain 33% of the moral acting in the organization. Inside the important summations of this investigation, we ?nd that there are not signi?cant differences between the moral acting of men and women; the personal and organizational values don’t explain the moral acting directly; there are differences in the variables that explain the moral acting of the public and private employees and ?nally the moral development is a variable moderator of the moral acting.
