Resiliencia y características sociodemográficas en enfermos crónicos

El propósito de este estudio fue identicar las diferencias y relaciones de la resiliencia en función de las características sociodemográcas y clínicas, y analizar el peso de estas sobre la resiliencia en 121 pacientes con diagnóstico de artritis reumatoide, enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica e insuciencia renal crónica de la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia. Se utilizó como medición la escala de resiliencia RS y la escala de resiliencia breve CD-RISC2. A nivel de resultados no se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente signicativas de la resiliencia en función a la características sociodemográcas. El análisis de regresión lineal múltiple mostró que el tiempo de diagnóstico tuvo un peso negativo sobre la resiliencia. En conclusión, las características clínicas tienen mayor relevancia sobre la resiliencia que las sociodemográcas cuando se es adulto mayor y con diagnóstico de enfermedad crónica.
