The main objective of this paper was to identify central features in the analysis of emotion regulation from behavioral cognitive perspective. We found that there are significant differences in the number of articles published per year, the most representative and the sources that are. For this we conducted a bibliometric analysis of emotion regulation, based on a theoretical review of 1,711 articles, produced between 1955 and 2012, referenced in different databases such as PsycINFO, Ebsco, among others.Downloads
