Relation between Pathological Personality Patterns and Anxiety in Psychology Students

This articule presents the results of a nonexperimental correlationalstudy, which objective was to determine the relationship betweenpathological personality patterns and state-trait anxiety in a group of120 psychology students at a university in Colombia, with ages between18 and 40 years and schooling levels between first and tenth semester.The instruments used were the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory IIIand State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Spearman correlation coefficientwas calculated, indicating a positive correlation between the presenceof aggressive personality patterns (sadistic), borderline and dysthymic,and high scores on trait anxiety.Downloads
