Abstract

The goal of this article is to clarify the state of art related to Autism emphasizing the diverse theories and psychological hypotheses implied in this singular disorder. Also, we will relate this to the interdisciplinary and diverse present techniques of intervention. The idea is to clarify how to improve the quality of life of the affected ones with this disorder. Clarifying all of this is very important in order to do a differential diagnosis properly because this disorder presents a great heterogeneity in its symptomatic manifestations, and it is often confused with other disorders.
