Therapeutical approaches parting from the discourse analysis of pharmacodependence

One of the main objective of this research was to find out some criteria which being suitable and. at the same time, used as appropriate mechanisms of the model of the therapeudc community, allowed the evaluadon of the treatment effectiveness. The selection of the therapeutic approach was carried out based upon the results of previous studies which indicated the model effectiveness. The design of the research involved three mayor aspects aiming at obtaining more generalresults.They were as follows: 1) The study of the model; 2) Reconstruction of the program and; 3) Investigation of the patients who have dropped the treatment.
The study has been carried out in the Association of Volunreers for the Drug - addict Change (AVCD) in Rosario (Argentinian organization which has been functioning since 1982). The withdrawal as a phenomenon to evaluate the trearment is discussed. Some conclusions as a first analytical approach to the model are also proposed.
