Personality disturbances represent today one of the most challenging areas of Scientific Psychology. Although the Psychopathology main classification systems (DSM-IV and CIE-10) give them a considerable space, personality disturbances are one of the groups of syndromes more unknown at all levels: epidemiological, etiological, evaluative and treatment. In our brief report we try to describe diverse aspects of one of the most representative personality disturbances at present: limit personality disturbance (LPD). Although this syndrome is as unknown as the rest of personality disturbances, it is probably one of the most investigated and a variety of cognitive behaviorist therapists have been developed. In our work, we present some of the current controversy about this syndrome, and we claim for the need for further and more systematic investigation on LPD. Key words: Psychological test, Psychology as a profession
