Abstract

Carl Rogers called his psychological approach “client centered psychotherapy”, and it is associated to Humanistic Psychology which dignifies and values person’s efforts to develop his/her potentialities. In this paper, the advantages and field of action of this approach as well as its limitations when applied in disadvantaged socio economic environments are described. Besides, Rogers’ more significant instructions about relationships among individual are exposed. Key words: Humanistic Psychology, Existentialism.
