Abstract

This article deals with the presentation made by Leon Chestov of Kierkergaard’s thought about original sin, in which it is possible to appreciate a conflict with speculative philosophy, circled initially in Socrates and then in Hegel, and from which Kierkergaard intends to flee. The successive failures of this «escape», Chestkov says, have to be understood as the other Kierkergaard’s conflict: it inability to accede to faith. Key words: Repetition, recall, absurd, inocence, freedom.
