Abstract

The present text shows the sense of the interpretation of Saint Paul and Saint Augustine that Heidegger carry out in his early Freiburg lectures. Concretly, I will point out the reason why Heidegger recovers some aspects of the christianity for his philosophical project and also to show which are the concrete elements that Saint Paul’s Epistles and Saint Augustine’s Confessions contribute to him. In this way, we will be able to appreciate, among other things, the importance granted by Heidegger to the accentuation of the self-world (Selbstwelt) and the temporality who is typical of the Christian experience of live.
