“Si no nos dejan ir a la escuela, construiremos la nuestra”: experiencias políticas estudiantiles del movimiento Dreamer

Resumen

Analizo de manera novedosa el movimiento Dreamer como movimiento estudiantil no universitario, con perspectivas de América Latina. Estos jóvenes, migrantes indocumentados, llegaron a Estados Unidos de América en su infancia, y fueron nombrados así por la propuesta de Ley Dream Act (por sus siglas en inglés). Por marco teórico utilicé los movimientos sociales, y parto de una epistemología feminista para el estudio de estos. Las categorías que recupero son masificación, diferenciación, identidad, participación y alianza; así como crimigración y violencias legales. Además, metodológicamente realicé una revisión de literatura con análisis hermenéutico. Así, argumento que las y los Dreamers comenzaron como un movimiento estudiantil que posteriormente se transforma en una lucha migrante que reconoce el cruce de sus múltiples opresiones marginales. Finalmente, enfatizo el contexto de crimigración en el que surge su activismo; las violencias legales para el acceso a la educación superior; y las experiencias políticas estudiantiles en clave feminista.
