Human talent processes and strategic addressing in the median company of Barranquilla, Colombia
Abstract
Studies have shown that the areas of human talent management are dependencies that function in isolation with the organizational strategic planning established by their management, with a tendency to the functional and nothing to the strategic. This article aims to examine the processes of human talent and strategic direction in medium-sized companies. The work was carried out in 84 companies from various sectors by means of a survey, it is an exploratory study. When evaluating the relationships between the human talent management processes and strategic direction, the results indicated that there is no relationship between these two elements. The foregoing allowed to conclude that there is no alignment between the strategies of the company and those of human talent management, in addition, it reflects the incoherence of the strategic styles between the different processes.
