Artificial intelligence in business financial management

Abstract

This article focuses on a review of the main techniques of Artificial Intelligence
with its different paradigms, from which the most important are: expert systems,
neuronal networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, and the “Rough Sets” theory
with its different applications related to the field of Financial Management in
businesses. It is considered that the directors or executives of companies could use
the new technologies or techniques that Artificial Intelligence offers in the making
of effective and efficient decisions while planning, executing and controlling the
financial management aspect of their businesses. The previous aspect is done in
order to be able to face the challenges that the new global economic surroundings
impose and the increasing technological innovations that companies in the XXI
century face.
