Diagnostic process of maturity value chain of a small mexican manufacturer corn product

Abstract

This reports a case of an industrial small enterprise of Mexico. In thiscompany, a rubric was applied to assess maturity in its value chain processes.The major weaknesses were found in strategic processes (organizationalmanagement and strategic planning), the key process of customerservice and support process related to infrastructure and work environmentand process documentation. It was determined that the company islocated in the maturity level II (Proactive), and projects were proposed toinitiate a process of gradual change, developing strategies to strengthenthe processes that showed a delay in their maturity level.
