Conditions of knowledge management, innovation capability and firm performance. An explicative model
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to construct an explanatory model of the relationshipbetween the conditions of knowledge management and innovationcapability and its effect on firm performance. All this, from the combinationof both internal conditions (strategic purpose, decision making, informationand communication technologies and behavioural environment) andexternal conditions (competitive environment), which guide the process ofdevelopment and renewal of new capabilities that involve knowledge acquisition,appropriation and the generation of results. It discusses the conceptof innovation capability and proposes a model that integrates the necessaryconditions for the evolution of knowledge within the firm and its influenceon innovation capability.Downloads
