Afrontamiento de conflictos y desconexión moral entre víctimas afrodescendientes del conflicto armado interno en Colombia

The study is carried out with two Afro-descendant communities that resisted the armed conflict in different ways. A quantitative study was required with an ex post facto retrospective group comparison design, which sought to contrast the following hypotheses: (H1) behaviors related to conflict coping (AC) and moral disengagement mechanisms (MDM) depend on the victimizing event. (HV) or crimes committed against the civilian population during the armed conflict. (H2) AC and MDM depend on the age of the victims. (H3) AC and MDM use depend on the gender of the victims. Regarding the sample, it was made up of 344 individuals divided between victims of torture, forced displacement and sexual violence. The results show that older groups responded consistently to AC, and considered abandoning the conflict when there is an explicit condition of advantage over the presumably weak opponent.
