Abstract

Successful professional positioning is discussed, particularly among young people, at work market bearing on mind the new realities of work world and markets; the employability as a construct; possible strategies; and a discussion about fallacies and realities of discourses on professional work market. The re?ection is linked to two research projects, and networks in Brazil and Colombia, discussing the implications and strategic conditions that mark entrance or permanence in the work market for young people, recognizing that this affects other kind of professionals and ages. Rentería´s (2006a) research on Employability provides information for ?rst and second parts. Enríquez & Rentería´s (2006) research on Learning Strategies and Employability informs of the third. Elements from Psychology and Consumer Behavior support arguing. Social inclusion and life quality by work are also discussed.
