Abstract

This research shows how the absence of Both parents Affects the structuring of personality in Children Who Experience neglect, taking as input the issues raised by the systemic theory in relation to family, Which considers it as the first entity contact and space That Begins the social and psychological development people, also consider the issues raised by the psychoanalytic theory of personality structure. The family is considered a key part in the psychological development of children. Therefore the presence of Both parents plays a significant role in the growth, not only physical, but psychological Also. The main objective of esta research was to analyze how it is structured personality in Their children abandoned by parents. Major Mechanisms intrapsychic defense of the ego and the way it is structuring the psychic apparatus. The investigation Conforms to the qualitative method. I Attended six subjects; children, Whose ages ranged from 9 to 11 years of age, participants Were part of the ICBF (Colombian Institute of Family Welfare). Two projective tests to each of the participants was applied in all, These Were the CAT tests (test themed children's apperception), and test the family drawing, in turn open semi-structured interviews, case study was Conducted, history clinical  and observations personal.
