Abstract

Facilitating the communication process in the training of health personnel and the promotion of health and prevention of disease in the communities is one of the key aspects to reduce the learning gap. This lack of results in health education processes may be due to the poor pedagogical training of health personnel, inequality, social isolation, and the vulnerability of communities. However, innovative strategies such as visual thinking have been used to promote information in a more inclusive, fast, and simple way. The study aimed to conduct a review of the scientific literature on the use of visual thinking strategies in the training of health professionals and primary healthcare.
