Abstract

This article shows the role played by the elections among the different social sectors of Cartagena society’s within 1820-1836. The main topic is focused on the articulations concerning the vote, the values that emerged during the political constest, the changes operated in earlier and former political hierarchies, and the way how these political representations modifications were perceived among the different political actors
