Emerging conceptions of heritage city from Market Bazurto Cartagena de Indias: the perfect city to diverse city

Abstract

The aim of this paper presents some conceptual reflections, which on city and heritage can raisefrom Bazurto Public Market located in the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. We analyze the changes between the conception of the city that sells private, architecturally designed city fromthe Spanish to the city of many voices, the city that is able to define itself, to the city of chaos and imperfection. The paper presents the application and proposal of a relevant educational city to assume the possibility of change and equity ownership as the market spaces Bazurto Cartagena.
