Estudios sobre educación intercultural en Colombia: Tendencias y Perpectivas.

Abstract

The author provides a detailed account of intercultural education, their ideological tendencies and perspectives that have arisen in Colombia lately. To this end a careful study following the main researchers of the topic is undertaken, paying particular attention to their ideological and disciplinary milieu and the way the object of study –cultural diversity- has been shaped and redefined. It attracts the discussion on how the disciplinary focus has been shifted from the simple account of quantifying diverse ethnic groups, registering languages or providing links between pedagogical tendencies in fashion in relation to cultural diversity.
