First approach to the theoretical connection between concepts of Heritage, Social Development, Historical Centre, Theory of Systems and Cultural Cartography

Abstract

In this paper, it is tackled the theoretical relation between concepts of heritage, social development, historical centre, theory of systems, and cultural cartography. First, it is linked concepts of heritage and social development. Then, concepts of historical centre and heritage are linked. Subsequently, a checkup of the most prominent elements of

theory of systems is made, and they are connected to concept of cultural cartography and its relation with historical centre. The objective is to make a first attempt of an arguing line that connects these concepts in the framework of understanding why the historical centre becomes a subsystem of city, able of represent it, in the sense of its study and wide sociological analysis; and susceptible to generate social development processes in a practical social sense.
