Abstract

This research paper presents the results obtained from analyzing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices implemented by an organization and its workers’ perception regarding the matter. The research took place at a multinational company present in Valle del Cauca (Colombia). The research’s goal is to contrast the organization’s corporate social responsibility practices towards its workers and their families and hot they perceive it. The results show that there is a tight relationship between the practices, communication processes and the employees’ perception regarding these practices. Additionally, it was found that the workers become aware of a practice’s existence as it satisfies their needs, which is why sometimes the uniformity of these perceptions is determined by the value that each worker assings to it.
