Evidências científicas relacionadas aos transtornos de adição à internet: Revisão de escopo

Resumen

Objetivo: Sintetizar evidências científicas relacionadas aos transtornos de adição à internet, buscando identificar contribuições da terapia cognitivo-comportamental nesse contexto.  

Método: Realizou-se uma revisão de escopo, envolvendo pesquisas de metanálise publicadas entre 2019 e 2024.  

Resultados: Foram recuperadas 28 publicações, abrangendo os aspectos: “Diagnóstico”, por imagem e relacionados aos traços de personalidade; “Fatores de risco”, principalmente relacionados aos traumas infantis, solidão, tempo de internet, agressividade e impulsividade em decisões arriscadas; “Fatores de proteção”, que envolveram autocontrole, consciência, amabilidade, autoestima, inteligência, satisfação com a vida e educação; “Prevalência”, que variou entre 8% e 37%, em diferentes países; “Comorbidades”, que abrangeram transtornos alimentares; ansiedade, depressão; déficit na tomada de decisão e Insônia; “Tratamentos / Intervenções”, destacando-se a prática de exercícios físicos e as abordagens mistas, envolvendo medicamentos e terapia cognitivo-comportamental associados à estimulação magnética transcraniana repetitiva (EMTr) e “Qualidade de vida” prejudicada.
