Abstract

Introduction: The fire is a chemical reaction of combustion, based in the phenomena of “oxidation-reduction” strongly exothermic that self-evident by a big detachment of light and heat. His effects are generally no wished, producing personal injuries by the smoke, toxic gases and extremely hot temperatures, and harmed materials and edifices.

The fire is produced when it exists simultaneously in the time and space with the three following factors: Fuel, Comburent agent, usually the oxygen of the air, Heat, that contributes the necessary energy to actuate the reaction. Besides, it is necessary, for the production of the flame, the existence of chain reactions. Method: The method of Gustav Purt, has by aim calculate the existent potential risk in a determinate edifice and what half of fight against fires are necessary to implement. Results: After the calculation of the distinct factors, arrives to the conclusion that the risk of fire in a pharmacy is high. Discussion: Therefore, it is necessary the strict inspection of the sanitary authorities of the Administration to avert the danger of the fire.
