Since its creation, the Revista de Derecho – Universidad del Norte has maintained an editorial line oriented toward a critical and reflective understanding of law, committed to the effectiveness of fundamental rights, substantive justice, and the rational control of power. This orientation has been consistently reflected in its focus on the central issues of contemporary constitutionalism, the judicial function, legal reasoning, the rationality of public decision-making, and the real conditions of access to justice in contexts marked by deep social inequalities, moral pluralism, technological transformations, and institutional reconfigurations. This issue is fully aligned with that trajectory and projects it toward new scenarios of structural change.
