In this article, we intend to make a systematic review of
main doctrine set in the Spanish Courts (specially focusing on
Spain’s Supreme Court) regarding the civil liability of lawyers.
Although we mention many analytical aspects, the detailed study
of the damages that the negligent lawyer can provoke stands out
in the analysis. More precisely, we focus on the type of damage
known as “loss of a chance”.
